As most of US partially reopens, Trump says ‘we’re back’ with or without vaccine: TODAY’s top stories


By the end of the weekend, 48 states will have started partially reopening, as some health researchers say only 9 states have met coronavirus testing levels to safely reopen. The director of the CDC says the agency’s models predict more than 100,000 COVID-related deaths in the country by June 1.
