Arrests made in alleged assassination attempt of the president of Venezuela

02:14

An explosion that went off during a live telecast of President Nicolas Maduro was initially said to be a gas explosion. But now a little-known opposition group in Venezuela is claiming responsibility for the attack on Maduro. The alleged attack involved drones packed with explosives. Six people have been arrested. Whether this was a real assassination attempt or not, Maduro's opponents are worried he will use the incident for a harsh political crackdown. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports.
