Animals impacted by Hurricane Maria hope to find new homes in the US

It’s been four months since Hurricane Maria ravaged Puerto Rico, and the island is still trying to get back on its feet. Among those struggling are abandoned dogs and cats, who are in desperate need of shelter and love. But that’s changing thanks to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and Southwest Airlines, who teamed up to find these creatures new homes. NBC’s Morgan Radford reports for TODAY.Jan. 22, 2018
