Andover police official: ‘Over-pressurized’ pipelines caused gas explosions
Lt. Edward Guy of the Andover, Massachusetts police department joins TODAY by phone to give an update on the scene in the Boston suburbs, where one person died and at least 70 homes were impacted in gas explosions. “We believe it was over-pressurized pipelines for the gas to individual residents,” he says, adding officials are investigating why that occurred.
