Al Jazeera reporter defends Peyton Manning expose, clarifies accusation

Speaking exclusively with TODAY, Deborah Davies, the reporter behind the Al Jazeera America expose that claims that shipments of human growth hormone were sent to NFL star Peyton Manning’s wife Ashley Thompson, defends her source, pharmacist Charlie Sly, as credible. She says that Manning is “not denying” that human growth hormone, “an incredibly banned substance,” was shipped to his wife, but acknowledges that the expose does not claim that Manning actually used the substance.Dec. 29, 2015
