Airstrikes on Syria were ‘one-time shot,’ Pentagon says
The United States’ airstrikes against Syria, directed at three separate chemical weapons sites in two different cities, were targeted and limited, according to officials. Defense Secretary James Mattis said “we have struck harder” in this attack in comparison to the airstrikes carried out last year. NBC’s Hans Nichols reports for TODAY from the Pentagon.
