Airline worker steals plane from Seattle airport before crashing
A ground service agent employed at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington stole an empty, 76-seat Horizon Airline plane late Friday, flying it for 15 minutes before crashing on the nearby Ketron Island. Two fighter jets scrambled to get by his side as air traffic control tried to coax him down. The man was apparently suicidal. NBC’s Hans Nichols reports for TODAY from Steilacoom, Washington.
