After calling off engagement, woman donates wedding venue to deserving couple

04:37

A woman from Tyler, Texas, named Kolbie Sanders called off her engagement last month but didn’t want all the planning to go to waste. Her Facebook post offering to turn over her venue and decorations, worth $3,500, went viral. She picked Halie Hipsher and Matt Jones, who wanted to marry soon because Hipsher’s grandfather is battling pancreatic cancer. Sanders and the newlyweds join TODAY’s Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford to talk about the beautiful event.
