A look inside the diary of the nanny who cared for Jackie and John F. Kennedy’s children
The diary and letters of the woman who helped raise the Kennedy children are being sold at auction. More than twenty pages of handwritten notes by former nanny Maud Shaw reveal intimate details about the early childhoods of Caroline and John Kennedy Jr., including what it was like for Shaw to tell the children that their father had been assassinated. NBC’s Kristen Dahlgren reports for TODAY.
