62 cases of AFM, polio-like disease, confirmed in 22 states, CDC says


United States officials reported a spike in cases of acute flaccid myelitis, the frightening polio-like disease leaving some children partially paralyzed. The CDC says at least 62 cases have been confirmed in 22 states and at least 65 additional illnesses are being investigated.
