After Donald Trump’s wife Melania gave an RNC speech Monday night in which one section strongly resembled part of a speech made by Michelle Obama in 2008, top Trump aides and surrogates such RNC strategist Sean Spicer sought to down play the similarities. Meanwhile, a popular plagiarism site found that the two speeches contained 23 of the same words in a row. NBC’s Hallie Jackson reports for TODAY from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
