Health officials in Minnesota are on alert after six children across the state were diagnosed with a rare polio-like disorder. The children, all under the age of 10, are reported to have acute flaccid myelitis, or AFM, a disease that attacks the nervous system and can cause arm or leg weakness, among other symptoms.
