53 years after deadly riots, Detroit still struggles with racial issues


In the summer of 1967, Detroit burned over five days of anger and protest in one of the deadliest and costliest uprisings in U.S. history. Now TODAY’s Harry Smith visits the city and finds it grappling with many of the same issues of racial injustice 53 years later.
