35 years later, ‘Son of Sam’ repentant


David Berkowitz, the postal worker who terrorized New York City with a .44-caliber pistol and taunting letters to the tabloid press in 1976 and ‘77, writes from prison that he lives “in anguish” over the killing spree and wishes he could undo what he did. TODAY’s Lester Holt reports.
