'Time is running out for me to...': Celebs divulge at Time 100 event

TODAY's Matt Lauer pinned down a few of Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World and got some great responses to fun questions!

On Tuesday night, the 100 most influential people in the world — at least according to Time magazine — gathered for the annual Time 100 Gala, which gave TODAY's Matt Lauer a chance to gather up some fascinating answers to unusual questions when he met up with several of the honorees backstage.

What advice would you have given your younger self?

Bradley Cooper: "Don't be afraid to be yourself."

Kim Kardashian: "I wish I had more confidence growing up."

Diane von Furstenberg: "I realized really early on that I should be my best friend."

Tim McGraw: "Relax, it's going to work out."

Laverne Cox: "You are actually anointed; you're beautiful and your dreams will come true. You just have to continue to believe and work hard."

Describe falling in love for the first time.

Cooper: "It's something about not being able to breathe, but that being OK."

Matthew Weiner: "It's the only time when I remember not being hungry."

Cox: "I didn't think I deserved love, and I was not able to receive it when it happened and it was the scariest thing in the world."

Jeffrey Tambor: "I felt sick to my stomach and I went, 'Oh, is this what this is?' [I thought] maybe I had the flu."

Emma Watson: "It's like standing on the top of a very, very tall building and you feel a little nauseous and a little dizzy but basically really exhilarated."

Kardashian: "There's never enough time to spend with your family and the people that you love."

Faith Hill: "Mashed potatoes and whatever it was that they put on top of it."

Kardashian: "I always loved my best friend Allison's lunch because she always got lots of Cheetos and Oreos and I was stuck with really healthy food."

Watson: "I was a very fussy eater as a child. I was like very, very picky. I'd have the same thing every day: plain pasta."

Schumer: "Oooh! Peanut butter and banana sandwich with a little honey."
