This capsule house makes other tiny homes look huge.

At approximately 107 square feet, the Ecocapsule comes with a bed, a seating area, storage space, a kitchenette, a toilet and a shower area — and it's mobile-friendly design lets you take "home" basically anywhere.

Beginning in 2016, this futuristic-looking egg-shaped tiny home will be available for purchase, but Nice Architects — the Bratislava, Slovakia-based creators of this design — have already unveiled images of the prototype product.

The sleek structure measures 8.36 by 14.5 by 7.31 feet and weighs in at 3,306 pounds. It’s energy efficient, complete with a built-in wind turbine complemented with solar cells and rainwater collection capabilities. A high-capacity battery allows for power during periods of reduced solar or wind activity.

After entering through an ultra-modern lifting door, you’ll find enough space for two adults to fit — although we question the comfort level. The architects’ website claims that despite its small size, Ecocapsule is “fitted with all essentials necessary for a comfortable prolonged stay without a need to recharge or re-supply.”

Because of its compact size, the home actually fits in a standard shipping container. The company notes it can be shipped, airlifted, towed or even pulled by a pack animal, giving a deeper meaning to the term “mobile home.”

While architects plan to release pricing information later this year, the Ecocapsule will be available for pre-order in the last quarter of 2015. Any takers?
