It should surprise no one that legendary Vogue editor Anna Wintour has strong opinions about fashion. Turns out she also holds very definite views about everything from tennis to books to food, as a new video from Vogue reveals.
An off-camera interviewer follows Wintour around her magazine office, and with help from her co-workers and some famous friends, fires 73 questions at the editor. The questions range from light-hearted to serious, and Wintour gamely answers almost all of them.
The biggest difference between Brits and Americans? Humor.
Country she's always wanted to visit? India.
The one fashion word she wishes everyone would stop using? "Journey."
If you only know Wintour by her somewhat imposing reputation (word on the street is she was inspiration for "The Devil Wears Prada"), you may find her a bit more accessible here. Turns out "Kiss Me, Kate" is her favorite musical, Hugh Jackman her favorite action star, and she has a phobia about spiders. She just finished reading former congresswoman Gabby Giffords' book about gun violence, prefers to vacation at home, and rarely carries a handbag. And that one thing this fashionista will never wear? Head-to-toe black.
Wintour also teases the new September issue of Vogue (don't miss the "Cooking With Marijuana" feature), reveals her love for tennis and coffee ice cream, and refuses to take a selfie even when offered the interviewer's phone.
She even tackles her own formidable reputation when asked, "What's the least true rumor about you?"
"They're all true," she admits.
