As America donned its red, white and blue this week, every eclectic color of the rainbow was on display in Paris at the city’s Haute Couture Fashion Week runway shows.

Six days of catwalk sashaying came to an end Friday, and the over-the-top designs from the world’s top couturiers — Dior, Versace, Valentino and more — will not soon be forgotten.

From floral masks, courtesy of Maison Martin Margiela, to Jean Paul Gaultier's ornate headpieces, the week's one-of-a-kind creations ranged from fabulous to bizarre.
