Uma Thurman is officially ready for winter! Well, at least her hair is.
The 46-year-old actress traded in her signature blond locks for a rich chestnut hue.

If you think her new 'do looks familiar, that's because it reminds you of her infamous "Pulp Fiction" character, Mia.

Thurman showed off her new style at the Pirelli Calendar gala dinner where she wore an emerald green, Grecian-style gown.

The "Kill Bill" star appears makeup-free in the 2017 edition of the Pirelli Calendar alongside other famous faces like Julianne Moore, Penelope Cruz and Nicole Kidman.
And the actress is right on-trend with this deep shade. According to celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa, it's all about rich and warm hair colors for the colder season. "A beautiful chestnut shade like Thurman's makes hair look healthy and instantly brightens up her face," Potempa said. (A good note for those of us who lose our summer glow come holiday time.)

While there's no official word on what inspired Thurman to try out life on the dark side, an Instagram post from two weeks ago suggests it might for a new role. Thurman caption the photo, "Greetings from Barcelona! Back to work with #RodrigoCortés on #DownADarkHall."
So, do blondes really have more fun? We'll see if Thurman keeps her brunette look to answer that one.
