Taylor Swift is 'happiest maid of honor' in best friend's wedding — see the pics!

There was no question that 26-year-old Britany Maack was a lovely, radiant bride. But it takes a confident woman to risk getting upstaged at her own wedding by asking a major celebrity to be her maid of honor...in this case, Taylor Swift!

Fortunately, Swift and Maack have been friends practically since they were born, as Swift, who stood in attendance as Maack wed Benjamin LaManna on Feb. 20 in Sacred Heart Chapel in Reading, Pennsylvania, noted on Instagram.

the best friend, the best family, the best groom and the best day ❤️

(Can we just say that we love and respect a wedding party that doesn't put the celeb front-and-center?)

The gowns were by celebrity fashion designer Reem Acra. (After all, we couldn't imagine Swift getting in some of the bridesmaid dresses we've been subject to all these years.) Maack had a hand-embroidered silk taffeta ballgown with a matching hand-embroidered cathedral veil, while Swift's dress was a pink chiffon cap sleeve gown with a hand-embroidered bodice, reported People.

Maack and Swift have been documenting their friendship over the years and sharing it in pieces on social media, like this sweet video of lil' Swift making a call:

While Maack posted this one from nine years later:

Yup, this is what 2002 looked like #bracesandbighair @taylorswift #1989isplatinum

And over the years the pair have shown up in any number of besties-out-for-fun pictures, like this one from 2014:

All of which culminated in Maack's asking her BFF to be her maid of honor last year. Swift posted the request with a throwback photo on Instagram, noting: "YEAH I WILL"

And YEAH SHE DID!

Thanks for sharing with us, Taylor and Britany!
