The royals arrived — and left — in style! As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their way from New York City to D.C., we kept an eye on Kate's fabulous attire throughout the trip. The royal couple returned to London late Tuesday night, but left us with splendid memories — or at the very least, these fabulous photos of one of our favorite fashion icons.

Tuesday:

The duchess wrapped up her whirlwind tour of the Big Apple in glamorous style, at a black-tie fundraiser for the University of St. Andrews, the place where she and William met and fell in love.
