Talk about summer sizzle! On July 21, Sarah Hyland turned up the heat, debuting a fiery new hair color via Instagram. To say we were floored by her flowing, red locks is an understatement.
But after the initial shock wore off, we actually read the caption, which revealed that her hair wasn’t the result of a trip to the salon, but rather a wig for an acting role. Hyland will play Seelie Queen in two episodes of Freeform's supernatural drama “Shadowhunters” (airing Aug. 7 and 14). Guess that explains the fantastical face makeup and elf-like ears.
