Duchess Kate stuns in red gown with asymmetrical neckline

The Duchess of Cambridge isn't just royalty in the U.K. She also reigns supreme as queen of elegant, understated style in the fashion world.

The royal family's latest tour in Canada has the internet buzzing, but this time, it's not about how cute Prince George and Princess Charlotte are (although they're undeniably adorable). Now, everyone's talking about the duchess's on-point outfits.

On Tuesday, the 34-year-old royal stepped out in a stunning red gown with an asymmetrical neckline that some compared to the celebratory dancing-lady emoji.

Kate gave her own stylish twist on the Preen by Thorton Bregazzi dress, which is currently sold out on Net-A-Porter, by adding a beautiful, maple leaf brooch — borrowed from the queen, no less.

While the bold red color and midi length of the frock certainly looked fabulous, it's the unique neckline that really caught our eye.
