Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio dyed her puppy’s fur and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) isn't too happy about it.
The Victoria’s Secret beauty and new mom, 31, was spotted last Thursday strolling in Malibu with her fiancé, Californian businessman Jamie Mazur, and her Bichon Frise, whom she recently dyed
“What most people don’t know is that dyeing a companion animal’s fur can cause the animal stress and can lead to complications or allergic reactions that endanger the animal’s health. Our dogs and cats love us regardless of how we look; why not extend the same kindness to them?”
Most dog-friendly hair dyes are specially treated to be as mild as possible, but dying a pet’s fur for the sake of fashion, while seemingly harmless, strikes us as a little unnecessary.
