Get Stuff We Love
Olivia Munn is turning heads with one of the most dramatic hair transformations we’ve seen this year.
The 36-year-old actress chopped off an entire foot of her long, dark hair just in time for the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie, “Office Christmas Party,” on Dec. 7.
She debuted her new, wavy cut on the red carpet and we must say, we’re major fans.
Dunn made the bold change with the help of celebrity hairstylist Christian Wood, who shared a few photos on Instagram including the transformation in progress.
The actress’s gorgeous new bob is especially striking because she has favored long locks for many years. Just check out her layers at the US Weekly Hot Hollywood Awards in 2006.
By 2009, she had grown out her hair even more, showing off her flowing, silky strands at the premiere for “The Lovely Bones.”
That’s not to say Dunn has never reached for the scissors. In 2011, she debuted a cute, chin-length chop, on display here at Fashion Week in New York City.
When she hit the red carpet for the 2012 ESPY awards, she had started to grow out her hair once more.
By 2014, her locks were the perfect length to rock this wavy style that radiated 1940s glam.
In May 2016, Dunn showed off her nearly waist-length locks at a screening of “X-Men Apocalypse” in London.
In June, she twisted her superlong strands into pretty braids at Spike TV’s 10th Annual Guys Choice Awards in California.
Munn is clearly a pro at picking hairstyles that flatter her perfectly, so we can’t wait to see all the different ways she wears her new shorter strands!
