Andrea Scott turns 30 on Monday, and to celebrate, she made her first trip from Michigan to New York City this week. On her itinerary was a visit to the TODAY plaza, which was filled with eager ladies hoping for new looks. And Andrea got a birthday wish come true from hairstylist Louis Licari and TODAY contributor Jill Martin: a head-to-toe Ambush Makeover.
The social worker watched TODAY throughout her maternity leave, and now she is mother to an 18-month-old son. "I'm very excited to turn 30... a little nervous," she told Martin.

She confessed to similarly mixed emotions about her approaching makeover. But Andrea didn't stay nervous for long, as the stylist team delivered a look she (and her sisters) loved!
"I can't believe it," she said, upon seeing her short, textured bob, which shone with modern highlights.
Her sleek navy dress with matching pumps perfectly complemented the edgy new hairstyle.

The second lucky Ambush winner was Nicole Vavra, 44, who works as a massage therapist in Nebraska.
Nicole has five children, has been married for 21 years and recently lost 60 pounds! "I'm just ready for a change," she told Martin.
And she certainly adored the transformation she received — so much so, in fact, that both she and her daughter were brought to tears.

"You look so good," her daughter said, admiring her mother's brighter, radiant hair color and form-fitting red dress. Kathie Lee compared Nicole to the animated sex symbol Jessica Rabbit!
