It was a packed plaza today, thanks in part to the uber-talented Ed Sheeran, so our Ambush Makeover team had plenty of people to choose from.
Celebrity hairstylist Louis Licari and TODAY Style Squad member Jill Martin plucked two women from the crowd with the offer to trade their Ed Sheeran experience for a total transformation. The results had their daughters screaming just as much as the concert did!
Forty-five-year-old Tammy Muriel stopped by the plaza with her three daughters to celebrate her youngest daughter's birthday. Not one for fancy makeup, Muriel was ready to have a morning of pampering while her girls enjoyed the concert.
When her daughters saw the glamorous new look they were blown away!
The Ambush Makeover team chose a shoulder-length haircut with side-swept bangs for a softer look. Licari also lightened Muriel's color for a fresh summer style.
Martin completed the transformation with chic separates that can go from the hot summer streets to the air-conditioned studio with ease. The flowing red top was complemented with a pair of chic leopard pumps and a long statement necklace that pulled the whole look together.

Debi Reich, a 60-year-old reading teacher, stopped by the plaza with her daughter Jennie but she never expected to be picked for an Ambush Makeover!
She enjoys making jewelry out of recycled items but she never wears makeup unless her daughter makes her, so she was ready for a brand-new look.
The Ambush team totally delivered! Licari chose warm brown tones to add dimension to Reich's hair, which now has a bit of an edge with an asymmetrical bob.
Martin complemented the elegant look with a slimming sheath dress. The black silhouette was made even more stunning because of the laser cut detailing throughout the bodice and skirt.
Here's how you can replicate the look. Congratulations to both ladies on their amazing makeovers!
