Melania Trump rocks menswear like a boss — is she sending a message?

It’s no secret that first lady and former model, Melania Trump, knows how to rock a runway and a red carpet.

And she’s certainly had some notable fashion moments both along the campaign trail and since moving into the White House.

But, recently, it’s her polished appearance that’s making headlines. It seems her sartorial sensibility has shifted in a masculine direction.

In fact, FLOTUS has been rocking the menswear trend a lot lately, stepping out in a power suit on multiple occasions. (She even rocked a business-like blazer in her official White House portrait.)

This begs the question: Is she trying to send us a message?

If it that’s she means business, we’re getting it loud and clear.

“This season, power suits are making a major comeback — we’ve seen them on every major runway, from Dior, Chanel to Gucci. Any woman who has worn a suit can agree that there’s a certain level of power and command you feel when you walk into a room wearing one,” said fashion expert Melissa Garcia.

Whatever the reason for her boardroom-esque makeover, one thing’s for sure: She looks like a boss!

On Sept. 19, she donned a Calvin Klein double-breasted blazer and houndstooth trousers for an appearance at the United Nations. (President Trump was there to address the General Assembly for the first time.)

On Oct. 5, the first lady impressed in a black pantsuit and crisp white button down during a photo op — and later dinner — with senior military leaders and their spouses.

She wore a pinstriped charcoal suit by Ralph Lauren and a loose black skinny tie — a nod to the '80s — while meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, at the White House on Oct. 11.

Melania Trump isn't the first, well, first lady to embrace the menswear. Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama were notorious for loving a great pantsuit.
