Jimmy Fallon's 'The Pocket Dial" reinvents the pocket square

Jimmy Fallon has just partnered with J. Crew to launch "The Pocket Dial" — a hybrid pocket square and iPhone case.

All too many of us have left our iPhones hanging out of pockets and jackets. At worst, they're begging to fall to the floor and shatter, or, at the very least, they make our outfits look sloppy.

Jimmy Fallon knows this pain, and has just partnered with J. Crew to launch "The Pocket Dial." And no, it has nothing to do with pocket dialing exes — it's a hybrid pocket square and iPhone case.

In his spiel about the launch on last night’s show, Jimmy shared how he had noticed epidemic levels of staffers with their iPhones sticking out of blazer pockets. As an experiment, he glued a pocket square to the iPhone — thus saving the real estate of their outfit! — and the idea was born. He then showed that idea to the people at J. Crew, and they jumped all over it.

And even better than saving your your outfit, all of the net proceeds from "The Pocket Dial" and "The Pocket Redial" (interchangeable pocket squares that fit the case) go to to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a Kenya-based charity dedicated to saving Africa’s elephants from ivory poaching and extinction. This brilliant tech-meets-fashion idea also contributes to a great cause!
