Jessa Duggar is a Duggar no more. On Saturday, the 21-year-old reality TV star wed fiancé Ben Seewald, and while she took his name on their big day, she didn't embrace all of the traditional wedding trappings.

For instance, despite the fact that Jessa and Ben decided to wait until they were married to share their first kiss, when Pastor Mike Schadt pronounced them husband and wife, they didn't seize the opportunity.

"They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private," Schadt told People. "It was important to both of them."

But the wedding wasn't a completely kiss-free affair. After explaining to the over 1,000 guests in attendance that the bride and groom were waiting a little longer, he then gave the bride's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, a chance to kiss for the congregation.

According to People, that wasn't the only part of the event that broke with tradition. Jessa wasn't interested in the usual white dress or big cake, either.

Dressed in a blush pink gown, the bride joined her 19-year-old groom and their guests for frozen treats after the "I dos."

"I don't really like cake," she told People before the wedding. "We wanted ice cream sundaes instead."

Those who've followed Jessa and Ben's romance on TLC's "19 Kids & Counting" can look forward to seeing the Seewald wedding for themselves — next season.
