Hats off to the royals! Designer headgear turns affordable

Since the royal wedding, hats have taken the fashion world by storm. And while not many of us have the guts to pull off a Princess Beatrice, we can now feel a little more regal, thanks to Target.

This fall, the store will collaborate with South African-born hatmaker Albertus Swanepoel, a former style editor at Martha Stewart Weddings magazine who has made runway toppers for designers like Carolina Herrera and Narciso Rodriguez. With 14 different styles to choose from and a low $19.99 price tag, you’ll be able to wear a different hat every day of the week, just like our favorite duchess, Catherine.

Prince William’s new wife – and her fabulous hats - once again stole the show during a weekend of royal festivities. From the blue fascinator she wore to celebrate Prince Philip’s 90thbirthday on Friday to a gray creation by royal milliner Philip Treacy worn to the Garter Day festivities on Monday, the Duchess of Cambridge turned heads.
