Is there a major brand that hasn’t yet tapped Gisele?
The Brazilian supermodel just landed one of the perfume industry's most iconic accounts — Chanel No. 5. The famous scent has boasted an impressive resumé of stars over the years, including Nicole Kidman (2004), Catherine Deneuve (1976), Ali McGraw (1971), Cheryl Tiegs (1969), Lauren Hutton (1968), and of course, Coco Chanel (1937). Bundchen was chosen for her “natural beauty and modern femininity,” according to the company.
Legendary film director Baz Luhrmann, who directed Nicole Kidman’s 2004 ad, will be responsible for Gisele's upcoming commercial, which according to WWD, will reportedly be shot in the Hamptons and in New York City.
Hopefully, the latest campaign will be a bit more popular than the luxury brand's last one — starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joe Wright — which was mocked endlessly.
The new Chanel No. 5 ad is expected to be released by the end of the year.
