Who are you and what have you done with Daenerys Targaryen?
“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke stepped out with a new, dramatic haircut over the weekend.
She paired the gorgeous cut with a semi-sheer black gown and gold jacket.
We’re loving her brunette bangs and bob, but the look is so different from her “Game of Thrones” character’s famous blond tresses that it took us a second to recognize her!
Stuff We Love
Clarke, 30, debuted the new 'do at a party for the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (aka the BAFTAs) in London.
The British actress is set to appear in the seventh and penultimate season of “Game of Thrones” later this year.
Clarke wears a blond wig to play Queen Daenerys in the hit HBO drama, but off camera, she likes to play around with different hairstyles.
She sported sleek, dark tresses at the season three premiere of “Game of Thrones” in 2013.
She exuded French glamour with a sleek and lighter bobp at a Christian Dior fashion show in Paris in 2015.
She added some warm highlights to her wavy bob, which she showed off at an awards event in London in February 2016.
And opted for a tousled, flirty lob at an event in West Hollywood in September 2016.
Clarke looked radiant with an elegant updo at the 2016 Emmy Awards, where “Game of Thrones” won its second Emmy for outstanding drama series.
After “Game of Thrones” wraps up, we’ll be seeing Clarke in a galaxy far, far away. She’s set to appear in the latest “Star Wars” movie, slated for release in 2018.
We hope to see Clarke wielding a lightsaber soon, but in the meantime, we know she’ll keep slaying on the red carpet!
