Getting your makeup routine ready for fall? Look no further.

Women are always in search of that one perfect T-shirt, pair of jeans and lip color. But the truth is, one is never enough.

When it comes to lip shades, beauty brands are eager to answer the call with customizable options and entire "lip kits" to get your pout ready for anything. Here are my favorites to try now!

1. Gloss and glitter lip kit

TODAY

This summer was all about the matte lip look, but now shine is making a major comeback. Acclaimed makeup artist Pat McGrath is releasing a highly-anticipated, limited-edition lip set to help "turn your lips on." Celebrities and beauty editors alike have been eager to pucker up for McGrath's soon-to-be-sold-out Lust 004. The metallic sequin parcel includes two creamy lipsticks along with a clear vinyl gloss and small jar of "micro glitter."

If you caught the recent VMAs red carpet, you've already had a sneak peek: Naomi Campbell's over-the-top sparkling red lips were courtesy of the kit. ($25 and up, sephora.com)

2. Ombre lip kit

TODAY
La Neige

Dual-toned lip products promise to visually plump your pucker thanks to a dark color on the edge and a lighter color inside. When swiped on, the ombre look leads to the appearance of a fuller shape; think of it like lipstick and lip liner in one step!

Scoop up a Two-Tone Lip Bar from Laneige ($22 and up) or wait until October and get Benefit's Big Sexy Lip Kit ($29), which will contain four options, each featuring a special two-tone tip.

3. Smokey lip kit

TODAY
Lipstick Queen

Looking to further fall-ify your makeup routine? Lipstick Queen's Smokey Lip Kits ($24 and up, ulta.com) pair a classic color with their new Black Lace Rabbit. Touted to be "like stockings for your lips that will hit and accentuate your mouth," the sheer black shade offers a hint of gold glitter, which can be worn alone or layered on top of a color. It works like a lipstick veil to create a slightly deeper, more sultry look.

You can also lightly shade the edges of your lips (like a liner) with the sheer black to create a more dimensional appearance.
