Emma Roberts goes from blond to 'desert rose' red — see her new hair color!

Emma Roberts has taken on a new "desert rose" hair color, which is perfect for the upcoming music festival, Coachella.

It seems that transitioning from blond to red has become the hottest hair trend this season for celebrities, with Emma Roberts now joining the wave. The 25-year-old "Scream Queens" actress presented her new, luscious red locks via Instagram on Wednesday with a caption reading, "Change is always a good idea."

The photo has received more than 295,000 likes and nearly 3,000 comments, with fans who cannot seem to get enough of the new look. The fierce selfie has attracted comments ranging from "You're so perfect!" to "OMG! You look amazing."

Here's a look at what Roberts' hair looked like earlier, in a photo she posted two days before the big reveal:

Her red hot hair was created by celebrity hairstylists, Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri, at Nine Zero One salon, located in Los Angeles. Not only did they change the color of her hair, but they also added textured extensions so the actress can create a variety of different hairstyles.

According to Lee, the hair switch-up was done "just in time for #Coachella" — the annual music and arts festival held in Indio, California, which makes up part of the Sonoran Desert.

It's no wonder, then, that Roberts and her stylists have dubbed her new color "desert rose."

Roberts has already proved that she's not afraid of a little change: She recently chopped off her hair and styled it into a bob after have finishing filming season one of "Scream Queens." Since unveiling the fiery look, the star has been spotted all over Los Angeles rocking her new 'do in numerous activities.

Way to go Emma Roberts — apparently blondes are not the only ones who have more fun!
