Nearly 8,000 miles and 11 time zones separated Drew Barrymore and the Duchess of Cambridge Thursday night, but where fashion was concerned, they couldn't have been closer.
Kate, still on her week-long tour of India and Bhutan with Prince William, stepped out in a brightly embroidered, floor-length Tory Burch dress to attend a royal dinner engagement.

And in New York, Barrymore was spotted sporting the exact same dress as she attended the 19th Annual ASPCA Bergh Ball at The Plaza Hotel.
While the dresses were the same, each woman made the $1,500 design her own with accessories.

Kate paired the warm tones in the vintage-inspired frock with a fiery orange shawl. Barrymore went minimal, letting her lipstick and nail polish pick up that same shade and otherwise allowing the dress to stand out on its own.
So, who wore it best? We're calling this a tie!
Both ladies looked lovely and can consider this look a fashion win, and for Kate, it's just the latest winning look in a week filled with memorable dress debuts.
From bright prints to bold solids, she's had an elegant choice for every occasion since arriving in India.
