I have to admit I cheated a little: I got lucky and stumbled upon these mini brooches, but don’t worry if you can find any because they’re easy to create. You can compile a collection of your favorite rhinestone buttons, and earrings are also a good alternative. You can pick up basic brooch (or bar) pins at your local craft store (here). They come in a variety of sizes.

Simply remove the shank from the back of your button and use a little E6000 to apply the pin. Allow some time to dry and now you have your mini brooches!

TIP: If the clasp of your pin is not secure and you’re worried about your brooch opening, apply a little glue to your closure to prevent it from opening.
