Since going to the Super Bowl isn't just any old business trip, Cam Newton wasn't going to wear just any old pants.
The Carolina Panthers' star quarterback went with the bright-and-tight look on Sunday, kicking off the spectacle that is Super Bowl week by donning a wild pair of Versace zebra print jeans for the team's trip to California.
Not just anyone can pull off wearing those pants, but after leading the Panthers to a 15-1 regular-season record and obliterating two playoff opponents to reach Super Bowl 50, the likely NFL MVP certainly has reason to be confident.
The bad news for anyone courageous enough to want to wear the pants — which Versace calls Accent Print Jeans in Yellow Zebraprint and will set you back $849 — is that they are sold out online, so eBay may be your best bet.
Meanwhile, Newton's counterpart, Broncos' quarterback Peyton Manning, went with a more muted style for his team's trip to the big game.
Presumably, plenty of his suit pants are available online and in stores.
