These Emmys after-party looks just might be better than the red carpet

What the stars wore to the ceremony is nothing compared to what they wore when they partied later.

The fashion fun hardly stops after the Emmy Awards red carpet ends. Some of our favorite stars swap out their show gowns for even more fabulous outfits to attend all those post-awards parties in style, and this year's after-party styles definitely didn't disappoint! Here are just a few of our faves.

After striding down the red carpet in an elegant ruffled strapless gown, "The Sinner" star sported an ethereal yellow gown (complete with a train) later in the night.

The supermodel looked sassy in silver all night long! After donning a beaded gown on the red carpet, Teigen showed up to the Hulu Emmy's party in a dreamy draped dress.

The actress took home an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in a stunning white gown, but slipped into something a bit shorter -- and darker -- for the Netflix after party.

The funny lady traded in her rainbow-colored red carpet gown for a slinky blue V-neck dress.

We spotted Rumer Willis rocking this flirty polka dot dress at HBO's Emmys party and immediately fell for the sweet look.

Jenna Elfman

As if her silver sequined dress wasn't cool enough, Elfman added an extra touch of sass by draping her blazer over her shoulders.

Taraji P. Henson

It's hard to decide what we love more: Henson's sleek velvet slacks or her fun printed blazer.

Vanessa Hudgens

And the award for best dress train goes to ... Vanessa Hudgens!

Lindsey Vonn

The athlete looked red hot in a slinky red gown featuring a draped shoulder and one very sexy slit.

Lisa Rinna

Normally, we'd have mixed feelings about shoulder pads, but Rinna, who recently made waves for rocking a ponytail, definitely makes the work look in her textured LBD.
