Channeling classic TV shows
TODAY anchors took a trip in the way-back machine for Halloween 2013 and dressed up as characters from TV shows of yesteryear. Here, guest star Carmen Electra teams up with TODAY's Willie Geist on Rockefeller Plaza to pay homage to the hit '90s show "Baywatch."
It's Laverne and Shirley!
Look at those cute roommates on their way to work as bottlecappers at Shotz Brewery! TODAY's Savannah Guthrie and Natalie Morales made their dreams come true as Laverne and Shirley.
'I pity the fool!'
Al Roker got to pay homage to his favorite TV character, Mr. T's B.A. Baracus from the popular '80s show "The A-Team."
Matt's magical 'slow-run'
Matt Lauer dressed as C.J. Parker, Pam Anderson's character on "Baywatch." He even did a slow-run through Rockefeller Plaza in Anderson's honor.
'CHiPs' is back!
Erik Estrada made a cameo appearance as his character from "CHiPs" with TODAY's Carson Daly for the 2013 Halloween special.
Meet the Flintstones!
Al Roker, dressed as Mr. T's B.A. Baracus from "The A-Team," posed for a photo with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, who transformed themselves into real-life, wine-guzzling versions of beloved cartoon best pals Betty and Wilma from “The Flintstones.”
'Ice Ice Baby'
Flanked by dancers outfitted as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Vanilla Ice made an appearance during TODAY's Halloween special to bust a few moves with his "Ice Ice Baby" mega-hit from 1990.
Hitting the beach
Matt Lauer, Carmen Electra and Willie Geist channeled "Baywatch" stars for Halloween. "Is someone drowning? I brought my cans," Matt offered at one point as he flashed his buoys. Geist showed off some serious some chest hair to look like David Hasselhoff's Mitch, and Electra joined them for beach patrol.

TODAY's Carson Daly, left, and guest star Erik Estrada appeared together in true-to-life "CHiPs" costumes. "CHiPS," which stood for California Highway Patrol, was a wildly popular show in the late '70s and early '80s.

Loverboy took to the plaza on Halloween to remind everyone with their 1981 hit that they were "Working for the Weekend." Afterward, singer Mike Reno said he's thrilled to still be on the road with the band.
