For the third winter in a row, hundreds of sick and starving California sea lions are washing up on California shores, with over 1,800 found and treated at rehabilitation centers throughout the state since the beginning of the year. The Marine Mammal Center is currently caring for 224 of the emaciated pups.

Just a kiss
Disney's Animal Kingdom welcomed its second baby rhino calf of 2015 at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fl., on March 13. Born in late February to mother Kendi, the little girl is the tenth white rhino baby to be born at the theme park as part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan and will join the rest of the herd on the Kilimanjaro Safaris savanna in the coming months.
