Here's what happened after Shake Shack debuted Al's limited-edition Roker Burger on Monday, with $1 from each burger sale going to "No Kid Hungry," a program that helps kids start their day with a good meal:
First, everyone drooled over the photos of this beauty that consists of an all-natural Angus burger topped with Niman Ranch BBQ pulled pork, double American cheese, red-eye mayo and pickles.
Then they headed for the closest Shake Shack location possible. Sometimes that meant crossing the street and other times the pursuit of the burger meant a road trip:
Some people gave it rave reviews, with Philadelphia's Metro writer saying," I would totally get it again":
And even kids, aka the pickiest eaters ever, are loving them too:
Some tasters are so enamored with the burger that they're asking for Shack Shack to make the Roker Burger a permanent offering on the restaurant's menu:
And then there's TODAY's Tamron Hall, who has eaten two Roker Burgers in the past three days like a champ, packing them while she can before August 26, the last day the burger will be available.
Haven't tried the Roker Burger yet? You have until Friday to get them at Shake Shacks across the country. Share your photos using #RokerBurger.
