TODAY babies Vale and London — whose mommies are Savannah Guthrie and Siri Pinter (wife of Carson Daly) respectively) — turn 2 this month! Does that mean they even qualify as babies anymore? We're not so sure.
In any event, since TODAY celebrates your milestones (not just ours), we asked fans with children whose 2nd birthdays fall in this special year to send us photos of their little ones. Below are a few of our favorites.
Thanks to all who submitted!
"Our mom was pregnant with us while Savannah was pregnant with Vale. She would watch the TODAY show every morning and stay in bed as long as she could before heading to work. Our mom had cancer in her early 20s and was not sure she could have children...so we are miracle babies!"
Margaret Rose Sanders
"She has two older brothers named Titus and Levi. She is starting dance class at the end of the month and loves watching her brothers during taekwondo practice. She loves to dance, sing, and read books."
"Sydney loves her play kitchen, taking care of her 'baby,' dancing, music and anything that involves her big brother, Skyler!"
"Nash is my sunshine baby. We lost a child between him and our oldest, and he definitely brightened our lives as soon as we found out we were having him. His hugs and kisses can cure anything that may be thrown your way and his smile will brighten anyone's day. He's going to be a big brother in October and I know he will love his new brother just as much as his older brother."
"Kastyn is a very loving and affectionate child. She is very outgoing and loves animals. She has the prettiest curliest hair and big brown eyes. She has the prettiest smile and loves to talk to everyone she meets. When she smiles her eyes light up. She loves to swing and could swing all day."
Sophia and Gabriella Gaines
"Sophia and Gabriella are fraternal twins born 2 hrs and 16 minutes apart .They love to crawl , play pika boo, and Patty cake"
"Gabi is a loving and sweet girl. She loves bubbles, loves to play outside and is always trying to keep up with her big sister. She is learning new things everyday and is such a happy little girl!"
"My little girl"
"[She] will be 2 on August 12 (same week Vale was born) What makes her great is even though she broke her elbow and had to have surgery on the elbow in April and then broke her leg in July (cast comes off on her bday), she is still her usual happy, silly, and smart self. She hasn't let this stop her from having fun. She is a real trouper!"
"My little grandson, Evan Jon, is turning 2 years old December 9. This little guy is great every day! Evan was born with craniosynostosis and has had 3 surgeries already in his young life, and in 6 days will have his fourth and most invasive. However, with all he has endured he continues to thrive, make his family laugh, and is so active! Great? He is pretty amazing!"
"She loves Minnie Mouse and playing outside. She is really happy and loves Popsicles!"
"My little Charlie Grace will be 2 in September. It's so hard to describe what makes her so great but in a nutshell she is pure JOY! She never meets a stranger and has a smile that makes even the grumpiest of people grin. We adore her! Happy almost birthday little Char Char!"
