Melanie Griffith is facing her social media critics head-on after being bombarded with negative comments.

Over the weekend, the star posted a selfie to Instagram with a pointed message.

"Here ya go," she wrote alongside the pic. "Unfiltered. I'm 58. And I'm in Hawaii Five O playing Scott Caan's Mom. Go ahead... Say some more mean things. Merry Christmas."

The post on Saturday was in response to harsh remarks left on another photo she'd posted days earlier — a simple shot of her tanned legs stretched out in front of a Hawaiian shoreline.

For some reason, the pic sparked body bashing and ageist comments.

Griffith's new selfie prompted a positive turn.

"You look damn good for 58! Don't take negative comments to heart," one fan wrote. "They come from sad miserable people.

Later, Griffith shared another pic to prove that the haters weren't really getting her down.

Dubbed a "girls night" shot, the pick showed the "Working Girl" star alongside a few people whose opinions matter most to her — glamorous pals Angelica Houston, Bette Midler, Alana Stewart and artist Margie Perenchio.

Not a bad way to prove a point!
