If you were a fan of '80s classics like "The Breakfast Club" and "Footloose," then the past week of TODAY likely had you breaking out the leg warmers and scrunchies.
Some of the biggest stars of the decade stopped by TODAY this week to discuss anniversaries of their hit movies, and catch us up on what they're working on now. In case you missed them, here are some of the highlights:
- Kevin Bacon joined Savannah to discuss the 30th anniversary of the 1984 hit "Footloose," as well as his experience re-creating the movie's famous dance on "The Tonight Show" earlier this year.
- "Footloose" isn't the only '80s classic to have celebrated a recent milestone — "The Breakfast Club" was released in 1985, and Molly Ringwald stopped by to talk about her memories of shooting the movie back when she was 16.
- "Karate Kid" star Ralph Macchio sat down with Kathie Lee and Hoda to talk about his part in the "Celebrity Autobiography" ensemble, in which he and other actors read fellow celebrity tell-alls aloud.
- '80s "bad boy" Christian Slater, who joined TODAY's Take to talk about his role in the FXX animated series "Archer."
After catching up with all of these icons, we know you're already planning your '80s movie marathon for the weekend — at least we know we are.
