Ingredients

  • 2 2 pound 3 ounce cans peeld whole plum tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Preparation

    Baking Directions:

    1.

    Drain tomatoes and squeeze them of their juices.

    Chop tomatoes fine.

    Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.

    Add garlic and sauté until very fragrant, about 2 minutes.

    Add tomatoes to the pan and turn heat to low.

    Simmer sauce, stirring often, until most moisture has evaporated, about 15 minutes.

    Season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.

    Allow to cool before using
