- 1 slice of bread
- 1 handful of fresh greens, like arugula or spinach
- 2 tomato slices
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat the broiler. Lightly toast the bread slice in the toaster. Top the bread with greens and tomato slices. Place on a piece of foil and put under the broiler until the tomatoes are cooked, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from broiler to top with cheese; add back into broiler and cook until cheese is melted, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve.
