Chef notes

Make a thanksgiving drinks more affordable, festive and easy on the host with sangria. Pour the ingredients into a punch bowl with some cranberries, leftover fruit, berries and wine. It's delicious and makes a festive centerpiece for the table.

Ingredients

  • 3 bottles red wine
  • 9 ounces of decent brandy, preferably VSOP
  • 6 ounces Cointreau
  • 6 ounces simple sugar
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • Slices of red apples, red grapes, and cranberries for garnish

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients in a large punch bowl and serve or store in a large container in the refrigerator overnight.
