- 2 cups shelled peanuts, preferably raw
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons oil (peanut, grapeseed, or any neutral oil)
Roast nuts (optional): Roast shelled raw peanuts in a 350 degree F. oven until fragrant, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Add the nuts, brown sugar, cayenne and oil to a blender or food processor. Blend away until it's nice and smooth! Enjoy straight from the blender or scoop into jars. Peanut butter will keep in the refrigerator for a week.
