My classic Bolognese is great over pasta, but it's a really versatile sauce. I like to get it nice and hot and then mound it on a brioche or potato roll. This Sloppy Bo is an awesome lunch but it's also a wonderful weeknight option for the whole family. Just make the meat sauce ahead of time and then dinner will be on the table in just a few minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups leftover bolognese sauce
- 4 brioche or potato rolls
Preparation
1.In a small saucepan, heat the bolognese over medium-high heat, stirring often, until warmed through.
2.Place 1/2 cup of the bolognese onto the bottom halves of each roll.
3.Place the top of the roll on top and gently press down.
4.Let sit for a minute or two to allow the sauce to soak into the roll and enjoy ... with a few extra napkins handy!
